Spring Qigong
“SPRING - the beginning of a new cycle - is here! Associated with the Wood element, Spring began on the Chinese calendar in February; now we are officially at the height of Spring. Sorry if it is still icy where you are. Spring is the Sprout and the Tree blossoming, symbolizing growth and activity. In Chinese Astrology, Wood is divided into Yin and Yang where Yang Wood (jiǎ) is solid and sturdy like a mature tree, and Yin Wood (yǐ) is light and supple like the new shoots of a plant.
The essence of Wood is a bursting forth of new ideas, new vitality and new beginnings - something that is arising at the IIQTC. This Spring 2021, Wood Qi is reflected in spontaneity, flexibility and activity. With a balanced Wood element, you can weather life and bend but still stay rooted and create something that endures.”
