* MERIDIAN FLOW CIRCUIT TRAINING * STRENGTH TRAINING MEDITATION
Qigong and Tai Chi can be described as a form of Somatic meditation -a body‑based form of meditation that centers your attention on internal physical sensations rather than on thoughts or breath alone. It treats the body as the primary doorway into awareness, emotional regulation, and healing. This approach shows up across trauma‑informed practices, mindfulness traditions, and modern somatic psychology.
Somatic meditation involves turning inward to notice sensations—tingling, warmth, tightness, heaviness, openness, breath movement, or subtle energetic shifts. Instead of trying to quiet the mind, you let the body lead. It’s considered a bottom‑up practice: awareness rises from the body to the mind, rather than the mind trying to control the body.
A practice that awakens the body’s native wisdom and helps release stored tension or trauma.
A way to cultivate presence alignment through physical sensations and movement, rather than mental focus alone.
A method for deepening body awareness and strengthening the mind‑body connection.

World Tai Chi Qigong Day is a FREE WORLDWIDE HEALING EVENT creating a Wave of Healing of Qi (Vital Life Force Flow) starting in New Zealand and continuing around the world.
Please join us At Murray Park Saturday April 25, 2026 beginning at 9am for an experience of Qigong and Tai Chi as well as connection with teachers, practitioners and others curious about these ancient traditions.
Qigong is considered by many scholars to be the great grandmother of all other healing arts from Tai Chi to Reiki to Acupuncture and massage. Massage may actually be the oldest healing art and it’s a part of Qigong.
